Bluebird Country Crafts On-line Shoppe

I've been slacking...yes I know! I've been busy around the house doing things that got neglected while I was doing my craft shows. In any case I've finally gotten some things listed on my website. I have added some reversible sunflower runners, some very cool reversible primitive runners and place mats, and some beautiful fall to Christmas reversible runners. Quantities are limited to what is shown so act quickly :)!
Here are a few pictures of the runners!

What is that Praying in My Tree!

Okay okay I know....I haven't posted in along time! Off with my head...oh wait that is what this little lady did to her lover after conseption was complete! For those of you who don't know me I have a fascination with goats and praying mantis; it may be the silly alien like faces but then again I think it is the eyes, in any case I find them very interesting. So for the last two weeks I've been watching this young lady who has been hanging around our Japanese Maple Tree. NOTE: she did have a boyfriend; but, I'm afraid she loved him so much she ate him. Any who...we had a really nasty cold rainy week I figured she was now dead too. Much to my surprise today the weather was beautiful, sunny and 70+ degrees, when I got home, my little friend was sitting on top of the tree sunning herself. I looked a little more and found her egg case so come spring I will be a grandmother to approximately 200 baby praying mantis. She isn't shy and she posed for the camera; here are a couple of her centerfold shots...not to shabby too I might add (okay I'm patting myself on the back as I don't have a macro lens and I was able to get up really really close to her without her freaking out!).
