To Much Going On...I Need A Vacation!

Have you ever had so much going on that you can't think straight? Well that has been my last week! My husband participates in Antique Tractor Pulling. This week was the Mason Dixon Fair, which is held in Delta, Pennsylvania. He took off Wednesday through Friday as the pulls started Wednesday night. I too took off from work to try and get things ready for two big shows I have coming up plus to attend the Fair with my husband. He ended up taking a second place on Wednesday night and made it into the pull offs last night which he also go a second place. You rock Dwayne way to go!

As for me I have been sewing my butt off! I have got a ton of reversible table runners and placemats finished all I have to do now is price them and get them packed up. I still have a ton to make because there never seems to be enough when you have two big shows back to back! Yesterday morning I did get 24 shirts embroidered for a sprint car team before we left to go to the pulls. When Dwayne left to go get water and Gatorade for the pulls he came in my studio prior to leaving. For the last 10 years I have been saying I need to raise my tables...I'm 6' 1" so I have to bend down a lot which kills my lower back; of course I'm one of those I'm going to do this and that people but some things just never seem important enought to get done and I have always just lived with my tables at the height they were. Well my dear hubby came back from the store and made risers for my tables! He raised them 7 inches, which now makes them as high as my ironing board, and I know longer have to bend over! It is awesome! I feel like such a putz for not doing it 10 years ago when I kept bitching about my back hurting. So if you do anything where you have to bend over a table for long periods of time do your self a favor and raise your tables. My hubby raised mine with PVC pipe.

Well I'm off to cut fabric with my newly raised tables! Have a Great Day and thanks for stopping by!!!!

Penguins Win Stanley Cup After 17 Years

Well what can I say the Red Wings laid down. I'm not a sore loser I'm sad; but, what are you going to do? Guess I'm waiting for next year! LOL Damn it! Okay pity party over. The Stanley Cup Finals are now gone and the next hockey season will be here soon. This is a good thing because I really should be sewing and I have done absolutely none when I get home and it is a hockey night. So I bid you a fond farewell Lord Stanley Cup until next year :)
